After fleeing an abusive relationship, Astrid Beaumont was given an apartment in San Myshuno by ‘Women Unite’, a domestic abuse charity. With a warm welcome from her neighbours, (and an even warmer curry from the local food stall) Astrid is finally feeling as though her life is starting to get back on track. Though her heart has been dragged through hell and back, she still believes in true love and hopes that one day, just maybe it will find it’s way to her.
